Most clients require 6–8 sessions to achieve significant hair reduction. Sessions are spaced 4–6 weeks apart to treat follicles during their active growth phase. The exact number depends on the area, hair thickness, colour, and individual hormonal factors. A free consultation gives you a personalised estimate at no cost.
Soprano ICE is designed for use across a range of skin tones. Suitability is always assessed individually — we review your skin type, hair type, and medical history before recommending treatment. If you have a darker complexion or South Asian skin tone, our specialists have specific experience treating these and will be happy to walk you through what to expect.
Soprano ICE uses gradual heating rather than high-intensity pulses, which most clients find significantly more comfortable than traditional laser or IPL. Many describe it as a mild warmth. Sensitivity varies by area — facial zones are generally more comfortable than larger body areas. No downtime is required after any session.
Small areas (upper lip, chin) take 15–20 minutes. Medium areas (underarms) take 20–30 minutes. Large areas (Brazilian, full arms) take 30–45 minutes. A full body session is typically 90–120 minutes.
Soprano ICE can be safely used year-round, including during summer. Unlike older diode systems, it is suitable for use on a light tan. However, we recommend avoiding direct sun exposure on the treatment area for 2 weeks before and after each session, and always applying SPF 30+ if going outdoors post-treatment.
Absolutely. Many clients start with one priority area and add more over time. There is no obligation to commit to multiple areas at once. Some clients begin with underarms or upper lip, and later add legs or Brazilian as they see results and build confidence in the process.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, thread, or pluck for at least 4 weeks prior — this removes the follicle that laser needs to target. Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner on the treatment area for 2 weeks before. Arrive with clean, product-free skin — no lotions, deodorant, or makeup on the areas being treated.

Most clients notice reduced hair density and slower regrowth after their first 2–3 sessions. Hair that does regrow tends to come back finer and lighter. Significant visible reduction typically becomes clear by sessions 4–5. Full results are assessed after completing a 6-session course.
